Qualification Overview

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings.

Awards and Renewal

Upon successful completion you will receive a nationality recognized Statement of Attainment to certify that you have been trained and shown competence for the unit HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Entry Requirements

It is recommended that participants have literacy and numeracy competencies equivalent to the Australian Core Skills Framework Level 2.
